about

Delbedel is an amalgamation of the Farsi words del (soul) and bé (to)—"del bé del” gives us the phrase “soul to soul.” As sound travels on the pathway of souls, delbedel invites the listener to make their own journey inward.

Saideh is a Tehran-born, Kansas-raised vocalist, violinist and setar player. Nomadic at heart, she draws inspiration from the diverse soundscapes of her sojourns in various countries of the world.

Khatchadour was born in Beirut, and is a vocalist and a duduk player. He references Armenian and Arabic vocal traditions and experiments with electronic soundscapes.

Listening Suggestions: Given the richly detailed and intricate soundscapes, we recommend enjoying the tracks on a home studio or through a good pair of audio speakers.
